Republic has invested in state-of-the-art, eco-friendly training technologies. LIFT students will train on a fleet of advanced new aircraft and flight simulators. The DA40-NG and DA42-VI aircraft possess the most advanced technology in the industry, and Flight Simulation Training Devices allow the students to achieve the most realistic flight deck simulation environment for a real-world experience and easy transition to the flight deck. 

Yes, students will receive blue polo shirts to be worn at all training sessions. The uniform policy expects students to wear their LIFT polo along with a khaki/chino pants or shorts of any color and closed-toe, rubber-sole shoes.

Students are provided with the required resources needed. A “virtual flight bag” will include an iPad provided by our IT department for the duration of training, and a Bose Aviation Headset.

All graduates of the Republic Airways Career Pathway Program have a defined pathway to becoming a pilot at Republic Airways.

Yes, LIFT students are eligible to be hired at LIFT as a CFI or can build time at other LIFT-approved time-building opportunities such as Cape Air and other flight school partners.

Those in the Republic Airways Career Pathway Program will earn a private pilot certificate, instrument rating, multi-engine certification, commercial certificate, a Certificated Flight Instructor certificate, a Certificated Flight Instructor – Instrument certificate and a Multi-engine Instructor certificate or Multi-engine time building upon successful completion of the program. For those in the Collegiate Pathway Program, you will earn all of these ratings and an Associate degree in aviation. After that, you’ll be able to be a paid Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) as you build your flight hours to the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) requirement of 1500 hours.

Training can be completed in as little as 12 to 18 months.
