2023 Year in Review

As 2023 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on an extraordinary year of expansion and innovation at LIFT Academy. This year has been a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in aviation training and the pursuit of new horizons in flight education. 

This year, we proudly expanded our geographical footprint with the opening of training bases in Myrtle Beach, SC, and Galveston, TX. These new locations not only mark a significant milestone in our growth but also bring us closer to aspiring aviators in different regions.  

In our continuous quest to provide cutting-edge training, we introduced 8 Frasca RTD advanced aviation training devices (AATDs) and 5 Vertex Solutions virtual reality immersive training devices (ITDs) into our simulator fleet. These advanced training devices ensure that our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the ever-evolving aviation industry. 

Our student body has seen remarkable growth, increasing from 225 to 425 enthusiastic individuals. This growth is not just a number; it reflects the increasing trust and recognition LIFT Academy has earned in the field of aviation training.  

Infrastructure development has been key to accommodating this growth. We inaugurated the Crew Resource Center in Indianapolis and the Aviation Training Center in Myrtle Beach. These spaces are designed to foster collaboration and innovation among our students, empowering the next generation of aviation professionals.  

A significant highlight of 2023 is the growth of our fleet to 71 aircraft. This expansion is crucial in ensuring that our students have ample opportunities for hands-on, practical training. 

Above all, we have continuously improved the efficiency and effectiveness of our student training programs. It is not just about growing in size but also about refining our approach to meet and exceed the highest standards of aviation training. As we look to the future, our focus remains steadfast on advancing our mission of shaping skilled, professional, and airline-ready pilots and technicians. The journey ahead is filled with promise, and I am excited to help lead LIFT Academy into another year of groundbreaking achievements and relentless pursuit of excellence.
