LIFT Adds new GenJets Partnership

LIFT Academy Expands Career Pathways Through New Partnership with Generation Jets

LIFT Academy is proud to announce a new partnership with Generation Jets (GenJets), creating an additional Part 135 pathway for graduates as they build valuable flight experience on their journey toward becoming commercial airline pilots with Republic Airways.

As demand for qualified pilots continues to grow, LIFT Academy remains committed to providing graduates with opportunities that not only help them accumulate flight hours but also develop the real-world operational experience needed for long-term success in the airline industry. Through this partnership, eligible LIFT graduates can join the GenJets Air Ambulance Medevac Operator program, gaining experience in an essential sector of aviation while continuing to advance toward their airline career goals.

A Unique Flight Experience

GenJets operates a fleet of aircraft that allows pilots to gain experience across a variety of mission profiles and operational environments. Aircraft in the air ambulance fleet include:

  • Beechcraft King Air 200 / B200
  • Beechcraft King Air C90 / C90GT
  • Cessna Citation 550

Flying air ambulance missions provides pilots with exposure to complex operations, time-sensitive decision-making and diverse geographic regions, all while supporting the transportation of patients and medical personnel throughout the country.

Accelerated Path to Flight Experience

Following selection into the program, pilots complete an initial training program consisting of both ground and flight instruction. The training period typically lasts approximately 25 days and prepares pilots for the unique requirements of air ambulance operations.

Upon successful completion of training, pilots transition into a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule, offering a distinctive balance between professional flying opportunities and personal time. During each operational rotation, pilots are provided housing and transportation, allowing them to focus on their flying responsibilities and professional development.

Operational Bases Across the Southwest

GenJets pilots assigned to the Air Ambulance Medevac Operator program may operate out of one of several locations, including:

  • Albuquerque, New Mexico
  • Roswell, New Mexico
  • Artesia, New Mexico
  • Addison, Texas

These locations provide opportunities to operate in a variety of airspace environments and weather conditions, further strengthening the experience gained while building flight time.

Supporting the Journey to Republic Airways

The partnership with GenJets represents another example of LIFT Academy’s commitment to creating meaningful career pathways for its graduates. The GenJets partnership joins the two other Part 135 options for LIFT graduates, flying for Cape Air or Brickyard Connection. Other options for LIFT graduates to get to 1,500 hours include serving as Flight Instructors at a LIFT Academy campus or joining the accelerated flight program at Bridge Air.

Through the GenJets Air Ambulance Medevac Operator program, LIFT graduates can continue progressing toward their ultimate goal of flying for Republic Airways while gaining valuable Part 135 experience in a dynamic and rewarding operational environment.

As LIFT Academy continues to expand its industry partnerships, students and graduates can look forward to even more opportunities designed to support a seamless transition from flight training to a successful airline career.
