LIFT Application Process with a Recruiter

We know that the process of applying to a program can be challenging, but that’s why we’re here to guide you. At LIFT Academy, our mission is focused on training our student pilots to the rigorous Republic Airways standards of operation. We believe that by training our students this way, they are propelled towards success in their careers as commercial airline pilots. Our highly selective process for admissions has a series of steps that need to be completed before you can start your first day at LIFT. This includes three parts: a Virtual Exploratory Session, application and interview.

The first step in our admissions process is to attend the Virtual Exploratory Session. These sessions occur morning, afternoon and early evening multiple times a week and are designed to give attendees a more in-depth look at what LIFT Academy has to offer to our students. Prospective students will meet virtually with a member from our Admissions team who will go through a presentation on LIFT and answer any questions they might have. Virtual sessions only take about 30 minutes and are a great way to determine if LIFT Academy is the right fit for you. Potential students can register for these on our website or through one of our recruiters. (linked here)

After attending an Exploratory Session, attendees are invited to complete our free online application and schedule an interview. During the interview, prospective students are expected to be prepared and dress appropriately. This interview is the only interview that our students will complete between their time at LIFT and moving over to Republic Airways once they have graduated and completed building the FAA-required flight hours. In most instances, students will receive a same day decision on acceptance into the program.

Upon acceptance to LIFT, our Admissions Team will work with the prospective student to determine the best available start date. All accepted students will then work with financing to secure their funding and complete their First Class Medical Exam prior to start. New classes generally start on the first  Monday of every month.
