Republic Airways Unveils Over $99,000 in Tuition Incentives at LIFT Academy

On June 6, 2023, Republic Airways announced that students at LIFT Academy will be eligible for over $99,000 in tuition reimbursements, covering the cost of the program. The pathway to Republic Airways through the LIFT Academy Program is now more affordable than ever for students who reach their completion date and commit to flying for Republic.  

LIFT Academy is an industry-leading flight school with access to some of the best training tools available and a direct pathway to a career at Republic Airways. The total value of all flight training certificates at LIFT amounts to $97,000. To make flight training more affordable, Republic offers a $15,000 subsidy.   

Incoming students starting at private rating who commit to the lessor of 24 months as a Captain or five years flying for Republic are now eligible for $350 monthly loan payment assistance amounting to $6,300 total in return for their commitment. Upon graduation, LIFT will continue assisting students with loan payments while they build flight hours and become Certificated Flight Instructors (CFIs).   

When LIFT Academy graduates upgrade to a Captain at Republic Airways by the targeted completion date, they are eligible to receive up to $80,000 subject to them continuing to fly as a captain for 2 years. The targeted completion date for students training in Indianapolis is 48 months and 42 months for students training in Myrtle Beach. The subsequent result is over $99,000 in total tuition incentives making the amount of tuition reductions and bonuses more than the cost of attending the flight school.
