Celebrating 6 Years of LIFT Academy

On September 4, 2024, we celebrated 6 years since LIFT Academy first opened its hangar doors in Indianapolis, IN. Since setting out on this journey in 2018, we have continued to transform the standards of flight training and soar to greater heights. Thank you for being a part of our journey! 

Since 2018, LIFT Academy has expanded from its main campus in Indianapolis, IN to campuses in Columbus, IN, Myrtle Beach, SC and Galveston, TX with development of a campus in Tuskegee, AL well underway. We have partnered with Purdue Global University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Ivy Tech Community College and Tuskegee University to provide opportunities for our students to advance their academic career while flight training. 

Our current enrollment is at 486 students with 118 dedicated and experienced Certificated Flight Instructors. We have expanded our Diamond aircraft fleet to 67 DA40s and DA20s and 7 DA42s. LIFT has been a driving force in the flight training industry for the past 5 years, having trained over 109 students and placing them on the path to fulfilling careers at Republic Airways. Our partnership with Cape Air has helped 74 students progress towards careers at Republic, enabling them to build flight time and accumulate the necessary hours for a direct flow to Republic. To date, 20 LIFT graduates are flying as Captains at Republic Airways.
