LIFT Academy was founded by Republic Airways to make flight training more attainable and affordable, and our training program prepares students specifically for a career in the commercial airline industry. With 10 bases around the United States, Republic Airways is one of the largest regional airlines and flies for its partners American, Delta and United. The new Republic Airways Training Center houses eight Level D Full Flight Simulators and five Level 4 Certified Flight Training Devices to elevate flight training. The simulators are replicas of the Embraer E-Jets that Republic pilots fly across 40 U.S. states, Canada, the Caribbean and Central America. Their high-tech computers ensure that the best decisions and procedures are carried out at the appropriate time and in the safest manner. These simulators can be used for a variety of maneuvers, from handling severe weather to dealing with an engine problem. Beyond the simulators, the Training Center has an array of classrooms for study, a cafeteria and additional technologies.
