LIFT Academy is proud of our innovative, technically advanced Diamond Aircraft. So if you’re interested in learning how to fly, schedule a Discovery Flight! Discovery flights cost $120 and give you a taste of what to expect at LIFT Academy. You, along with a Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI), will take off and fly for up to an hour, sitting right behind the controls and experiencing what current LIFT students do every day!

What Do I Need to Know Before Starting Flight School?

At LIFT, we pride ourselves on preparing our students for their future careers as airline pilots from day one. Basic aeronautical knowledge is not a requirement! If you want to more quickly complete your training with LIFT, we offer the Republic Airways Career Pathway Program. This allows you to focus solely on learning the basics before advancing and earning your pilot licenses and certifications.

Want to earn your degree while flying? We’ve partnered with colleges to offer our Collegiate Partnership Program that lets you simultaneously earn a college degree and become a pilot. Whichever route sounds better to you, the result is the same — upon graduation, you will have a defined pathway to Republic Airways to start as a First Officer.

When and How Do I Sign Up?

Unlike high school or college, LIFT offers year-round enrollment with new classes beginning monthly! We offer rolling admissions, meaning you can apply any time throughout the year and start as soon as your application is accepted. Visit our Admissions page to see if you meet the requirements and get started on your aviation journey.

If you’re interested in a stable, rewarding career as a commercial airline pilot, there’s no better time to start and no one better to do it with than LIFT Academy. In as little as 18 months, you can start earning money while gaining flight hours as a CFI or as a commercial airline pilot for Cape Air.
